Typewriter Series 001
Go get that haircut you've always wanted. Start dancing in the street to the rhythms you feel. Paint your toenails or leave them plain. Stop conforming to the idea of what other people expect you to be, or even more so, stop trying to live up to this idea of perfection you've set for yourself. Giving ourselves permission to create whether that's creating conversation, livelihoods, relationships, works of art — you get the idea — the permission to create what we choose can be the most liberating feeling in the world. Give yourself permission to be open, to be vulnerable. Give yourself permission to do the work your love simply because you love to do it. Give yourself permission to make mistakes, to fall, to see with different eyes and new perspectives. Give yourself permission to take chances, to believe in the goodness that is in others, and the goodness that is also in you. Stop waiting for tomorrow, stop questioning your ideas, stop putting off your intrigue, because when it comes down to it, " not being good enough" and "perfection" are just masks hiding your self-doubt, which sadly is the only thing standing in your way. Give yourself permission to see your potiential and to believe in it fiercly. Live boldly or live quietly, live whatever kind of life you've always wanted and give yourself permission to do that.
This is your permission.
