Spooktacular Day at Disneyland
I am already a super sentimental person, add pregnancy hormones to the mix and it's on a whole other level. Before Brian and I got married, the last time I went to Disneyland was when I was five, my mom was pregnant with my brother James, and my dad was my ultimate autograph partner in crime. My memories from Disneyland as a child are so vivid, and I think I can thank my mama and her love of photographs for that. One photo that will always remain a favorite from that Disneyland trip was the heap of us sitting in this teal car in Toontown, it was on our fridge for years and it always brought back the sweetest memories. When I had a friend make some serious magic for our family and offer to get us into Disneyland for a day, I not only started crying but I knew I had to hunt down this teal car from so many years ago. So here we are, my little family and I, in this tiny teal Toontown car from my childhood, and it feels like my experiences at Disneyland have completely come full circle.
We definitely have gotten our fair share of fall festivities in, but being at Disneyland surrounded by pumpkins and not so scary ghosts and ghouls really put us in the Halloween mood. Hands down the Haunted Mansion was the coolest Halloween house I have ever seen! It was completely revamped and redecorated in The Nightmare Before Christmas theme and the ride was full of incredible talent from an art perspective - I doubt there will ever be a house to live up to it's insane detail. The three of us were completely mesmerized.
